Next Step is Little People's out-of-school care centre

We are a small-scale innovative extracurricular centre. Child-centred working is our main principle.

This is something we value highly:

  • Child is central
  • Small-scale & professional
  • Individual attention
  • Clarity and structure
  • Cooperation with parents
  • Support in development

We work intensively with two schools in Best and have started a development with both schools to form an Integral Child Centre. School programmes and themes, coordinated with school, we can continue in a relaxed atmosphere.

Like day care, with Next Step we aim to be a second home for your child. We cater to your child's personal wishes and talents. This could be anything in the field of sports, games, music, homework supervision in the upper school or any other special interest of your child.

Our aim is for your child to feel 'at home' with us after school and during holidays. Children fill their free time with own wants and needs.

But we also believe it is important that your child grows up in a reliably safe environment and can develop positively, at his or her own pace, appropriate to the age stage your child is in.

How do we do that?

  • By providing small-scale care. Groups tailored to children's interests and age stages as much as possible.
  • Our leaders are kind and patient. They have a big heart for children.
  • Through the conversations we have with each other as well as with the school, we get to know your child very well and your child receives the best, individual attention. We have great respect for your child's uniqueness. If necessary, in consultation with you, we offer resilience training, dealing with bullying, etc.
  • Of course, we have a lot of experience and the necessary training on everything concerning children. Both medical and educational.
  • We spend our days with a structured daily schedule and there is plenty of time for all kinds of play.

Other activities

During the year, we organise all kinds of activities based on the themes that take place at school or such as Carnival, Sinterklaas, Easter, Christmas, Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter. Through news releases and our facebook page we always keep you informed.

To get a good impression of our BSO, you are more than welcome for a personal introduction. Feel free to make a no-obligation appointment via 0499-850352 or use the contact form.
